Top Health Swaps - with a video recipe
“If you keep good food in your fridge, you will eat good food”
~ Errick McAdams
Have you created some healthy habits that are so natural now that you don't even think about it?
Once that happens, your habit is now PART OF WHO YOU ARE, no longer something you are "doing"
One Healthy Habit at a time.....
Where to start?
Here's where I suggest starting, with simple food swaps for what you are probably eating every day.
This also applies to your family, incorporate healthy changes over time to create a healthy FAMILY with healthy HABITS.
Two of my favorite healthy food swaps happen to span the 8 years that I have been on my health journey.
The FIRST food swap I incorporated FOR MY FAMILY 8 years ago was Spaghetti Squash instaed of pasta. I didn't change the sauce or other ingredients at first because I wanted to lessen the resistance (can you relate? LOL). and the pasta/spaghetti squash swap already was saving us almost 400 calories and 75 carbs per 2 1/4 cup serving.
My MOST RECENT SWAP just came to me a couple months ago and I admit, I am obsessed! This High Protein Cottage Cheese Wrap is an amazing substitute for flour tortillas.
Ready? Let's make this High Protein Cottage Cheese Wrap 👊
This swap from flour tortillas to the High Protein Cottage Cheese wrap will save you 40 calories and a whopping 14 carbs! BONUS: it also has 500% more Protein!
