Why Diets Fail

“It''s not about a short term diet.... it's about creating Long Term Health” ~ Donna Johnson

WHY? Why does this happen time and time again?

I get it - you start a "diet" with hopes that THIS is the solution you've been looking for. You start with enthusiasm because you really really desire the outcome it promises. You may even be successful to the point that you lose the weight and reach your goal. But... There's always a but. How long do you stay at your healthy weight before the pounds slowly start to creep back on?

It's time to jump OUT of the yo-yo cycle. Let's dive in!

8 Reasons

What the heck, right?!

That last one (and the time before) were going to be different. After all you've been thru, you were determined that THIS TIME, THIS YEAR was going to be YOUR YEAR.

How is that diet going? How long ago did you try and give up? It's not your fault and you CAN make lasting change.

WHY DIETS and RESOLUTIONS DON’T WORK and the majority of people give up a few weeks in and proclaim NEXT WEEK, NEXT MONTH, NEXT YEAR we’ll do this for real…

SELF-INTEGRITY

First, really realize that YOU ARE WORTH THIS.

MOST are 100% in full integrity with our friends, family members, neighbors, etc. We say we’ll be there at a certain time, and we show up. We tell them we will help with something and we will move mountains to keep our word - TO THEM.

However, MOST of us have LOW integrity with OURSELVES. We give up on the promises we make to ourselves as recently as that morning,  the previous Monday and yes at the start of the year.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Having an accountability partner that has the same goal as you OR wants the best for you ups your self-integrity immensely.

You set a time to meet your running/walking buddy at the trail. Are you going to blow that off as easily as you would if you were planning to do this yourself? On your own, how many times will you even talk yourself out of putting on those sneakers?

This isn’t just for exercise, we need accountability in every area of our lives, it’s just human nature to procrastinate and NOT MAKE CHANGE. Change is HARD. But you can do it and YOU ARE WORTH IT.

COACHING

Step it up a notch and find a coach. A coach in your health, exercise, business, parenting, marriage…

A good coach will challenge you, support you, and hold you accountable and wants you to succeed maybe even more than you do. Any goal for change is worth having someone who will hold your feet to the fire, remind you WHY you wanted to change and what your desired outcome is.

It’s so important to realize that a coach cannot motivate you or make you do something. THAT is an inside job. A good coach will ask you questions to help you uncover what your desired outcome is and why you want to lose weight, get fit, grow your business, be the best parent, have an exceptional marriage, etc. YOU are the one in control, but don’t think you can do it alone.

Are you ready to make REAL change that lasts?

Reach out and get an accountability partner, step it up and find a coach.

You don't need pills, lotions or shots.
You need a solid nutritional plan that takes the guesswork out. You need a coach and a community of likeminded folks on the same journey toward health.

MOST importantly you need to create a HEALTHY MINDSET with continual personal growth to BECOME the person you desire to be.
